Notice goes both ways. My employers have me notice that they are moving last night... several months of notice. They asked me to let them know in the next few weeks if I can’t commit to staying until their move. My contracts always read four weeks, but when a family goes above and beyond... They generated so much more goodwill last night, especially by allowing me an out if I find something amazing in the next couple weeks. Just because they offered all this notice AND allowed me an out, it makes me want to stay until the last minute. I love the kids dearly, and the parents are wonderful people, but this is icing on the cake!
