I think the nature of the videos (sexual or violent or otherwise polarizing vs. like, makeup tutorials) matters, but assuming it is the latter, no. This does not matter at all.

Unless you specifically had this banned upon hire, then you really shouldn’t worry about her having this hobby.

At least it is appropriate and like you stated, your children are not shown at all.

I may be missing something here, but I see zero issue here.

It's really no different than if someone she'd gone to middle school with approached her saying "hey you don't know me anymore but I'm Tanya Harding - we knew each other in fifth grade!"

As long as your nanny doesn't do like, bomb-making videos on Youtube, or something that would specifically attract whack-a-doos, it's fine.

A. Demand she shut down her channel

B. Fire her for having the channel

Wtf? You’re worried about strangers and fans approaching her? Was she previously invisible to all of the strangers and people she may know from her real life and before she met you all? So what if someone recognizes her? Op do you really think that ALL 500,000 of her followers live in your city and hang out at the same places?

Yes, you are over reacting. You are correct that what she does in her personal time is her business.

Someone recognizing her in public should not concern you unless there was inappropriate behavior in any way. She could just as soon run into an ex-boyfriend, former employer, random relative, etc...
