Move to Del-Ray Alexandria. They were all over the place.

My nanny met other nanny friends in the neighborhood with similarly aged kids. Do you have a neighborhood list-serv? Maybe you could try posting there.

Yes, she lives with us. Our nanny is shy and new to the US, so I’m just trying to help her meet people. Thanks for any thoughts!

Because she’s a kind person?

Hi all!
Our wonderful nanny just moved to NOVA from Colombia and has no friends in the US. She is 45 so older than the au pair crowd and only speaks Spanish. Are there nanny meet ups or other social gatherings where she can meet other nannies or anyone really? Any thoughts on how she can go about meeting people? I know she must be lonely in this new setting and country. Thanks a ton for any advice!
