I do celebrate Xmas and worked once for a Jewish family.
What I did was to get the kids a gift on the last day of Hannukah.

And they got me a xmas present

You don't need to give your MB a present.
She's your boss.

MB here in an interfaith family. I agree with this response. I really wish our nanny would not get us a gift. If you want to give your bosses something, a card is plenty.

No need to get them gifts. Hanukkah is not equal to Christmas and you don't generally buy each other gifts as in Christmas. If you do, one small one for each child, no adults. Give it at Hanukkah, not Christmas but they will probably give yours at Christmas.

Gifts flow down - it is inappropriate and unprofessional for you to give your employers anything but a card.

Only parents give the kids eight gifts. If you want to give them anything, give ONE gift. It would be nice if you gave it on the first night of Hanukah.

Here is a website with Hanukah toys that I have ordered from in the past: http://www.oytoys.com/Hanukkah-s/69.htm

Nothing more than a card to your boss on Hanukkah. Gifts for the kids on one night only.

hi everyone
I celebrate Christmas, my bosses are Jewish. Would it be offensive if I give a gift before my Christmas break or should I give the gift during Hanukkah? Do I have to buy 8(?) presents each day for MB and the kids? What would make a nice gift for MB? I'm clueless about Hanukkah and don't know. Thank in advance
thanks
