There are no more vaccines after 18 months until 4, except the annual flu vaccine. Also, as of 2, kids go once a year for well checks.

Oh, God - shut up! You haven't got a clue. WELLNESS VISITS ARE WHEN YOU GET VACCINES. Do you think the child is getting her vaccines in the mail? And do you think that a nanny doesn't know when her charge has been vaccinated?!

I hope you are just a troll and not a parent because you are shockingly stupid.

While I can totally see your side on this, unfortunately there is really not much you can do since she is the parent & is in full charge of her child.

You can always mention + encourage the wellness check-ups, but ultimately the final decision is up to the parent.

Sadly it sounds as if you are actually more proactive than the parent here.

She totally skipped her 18 month check up and now we are headed for her two-year birthday and she still hasn't made the doctors appointment. She will take her to the doctor in an instant if the child is sick but just won't make the needed appointments.

How do I remind her in a gentle way that the child must go in for her check up?

From the above, obviously, she is not a good mother.

OP here - My employer is not anti-vaccination and my charge has had all her immunizations up to 18 months.

I will talk to her again and offer to take over scheduling my charge's appointments. Thanks!

This. Offer to make the appointments and take the child yourself. Since she missed so many scheduled vaccines, she will probably have to go to the doctor every two months to catch up.

Children get their vaccines at wellness visits which is why they are so important.

They get shots. Ask her to schedule it and you take child. Problem solved.
