I'd talk to the employer first and tell her you do not want any image of yourself on line but especially "surveillance" footage!

No, no (it was video) and yes. However, seems irrelevant. I don’t like how I oook on camera (self conscious of my weight) and did not know I would have any images of me at work uploaded for all to see!

Please talk to your employers, OP. I would be furious is anyone ever did this to me.

Excellent! Every nanny should include this.

I would be furious, OP. I actually like having cameras present as I want my employers to see how hard I work all day however I would never want any picture or video of me to be posted on social media. Your employers crossed a line and must be told immediately to take down the video with you in it and never again post any pictures of you.

I actually do think it is against the law. Please talk to your employers immediately.

Oh my .. I just had the same thing with my MB! she posted a video about me teaching her child on her Instagram.

I'm 100% sure she will going to be offended if I told her to take off the video.

+ 1,000,000 - This is completely OUTRAGEOUS. This is EXACTLY why I am not comfortable being filmed. You have no idea what footage they're getting of you or what exactly they might be doing with that footage. If they don't trust me, there is NO reason why I should trust them.

My employers have dozens of references for me, and I have ZERO references for them. If they think I may need to be watched on camera, they simply need to move on and settle for someone else. I don't care to be on their "reality tv" to share wherever they like without my permission. God only knows if they catch something embarrassing to me. It's totally creepy for them to watch me like that.

Every nanny may want to consider having a little camera detector, especially for the bathroom.

Absolutely talk to her and tell her. I am fairly sure that what she did was against the law.

I would be very, very angry - and I am an MB.

This would irritate me too. Just talk to them and tell them you respect they have cameras and don’t want you posting their child’s pictures online and would like the same courtesy in return. Is there a way to blur you out? Maybe that would be a good compromise.

My NF has cameras. I know this and I’m fine with it.

I am not friends with MB but her page isn’t very private. She posted a video of NK that she got from their livestream. I am in the video. They posted it because NK did something cute.

I don’t think they should be able to post a video of me online without my permission. I cannot post pictures of my NK and I respect that, why can’t they respect me? I don’t like the way I look on camera and I agreed to cameras not to my image being posted on Facebook without my permission!
