I was thinking $50/night overnight fee and $100/night if I were on call with the children. I will have my own room in a family home. One thing that concerns me is that I will mostly work my normal hours and be away from home for little additional pay. For those of you who have a travel rate, what is it and what is your hourly? I make $21/hr with one hour OT daily. Any additional hours will obviously be at OT rates. Lastly, this is over the holidays, so how do you charge for that? OT for the entire day of holiday?

I got time off and did not get paid for that time.
It was still worthwhile.
