Your advice makes no sense whatsoever! Why would the nanny quit over something the parents so (let the child go to grandmother's house) when the nanny isn't there? The nanny is not - and would never be - held responsible for any harm done to the child while in the grandparent's care.
This advice to nannies to quit at the drop of the hat is ridiculous and so overdone on this forum. "Quit!" is part of every single thread on every single topic. Boring.
