You're missing the point of the post: OP found posts that AP had made looking for a new family PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. In other words, she was never planning to stay. If this is how she felt, she should have either not matched at all or broken the match prior to arrival. As it was, she went into the match in bad faith. That is OP's point (if I am reading it correctly).

OP you should get screenshots while you can of the AP's postings and share them with the agency. Clearly she was not committed to the match from even before arrival, and they should know this about her as they move to place her in another family.

Of course there are worse rematch stories. But you hope they at least start the year committed to making it through.

You are lucky if this is your only rematch horror. There are plenty out there a lot worse than that. Keep reading about the rematch issues because it will only help you in the future and will let you know the "tricks" played by many ap's and especially the agencies. Dishonesty runs rampant with many in both groups. The stories are absolutely disgusting....and I say that with first hand knowledge, information from other families, pictures, and documents.

It's our first rematch and I totally feel burnt. I'm not done with the program, but man -- did this one open my eyes.

So our spider-fearing AP really lacked any commitment to the job. There were *a lot* of little signs, but we figured they were minor corrections in their first month and we would work through them, she would settle in. Homesickness seems a likely culprit too.
But after having a break down last week when she had trouble disciplining one of our kids, we knew it was likely heading to rematch. She just became overwhelmed easily. She didn't want to try mediation and finally I agreed, let's rip off the band-aid, but...
Based on some advice in this forum, I checked around on FB earlier on Monday to get an understanding for the FB rematch groups (this is our first rematch). Here' what gets me...
We matched with her very early on -- early Spring. I spent a lot of time emailing, skyping, answering questions, building a bond, etc.
But as I started searching these FB rematch groups, I realized our AP had joined several of them months ago -- after she matched with us and before she arrived in the country.
So there was never any commitment from her. She was searching for plan B before she even arrived in the country. Classy.
At our meeting with LCC, I did ask her about it and she was clearly surprised that I saw it at all. I thanked her, because of FB suggestions based on what other friends have joined, I found several more groups.
