First of all, when I responded, mom hadn't said everyday. Second, it's 10-15 hours. Third, once you add in travel time back and forth, it eats up more time than you think.
But the most salient point in my mind is that this nanny works a 55-hour week, and has apparently been doing a lot of household work already. There aren't a lot more duties to be added at this point, and I think it is reasonable to let her do the grocery shopping while the kid is in school.
