I actually agree with the other PP's and I was a nanny and now employ a nanny! The thread title is very off-putting. And OP never asked about what benefits a nanny will provide for her children - just for herself.
But to answer OP's question: A nanny's responsibility is the care of your child. Therefore a nanny should do anything and everything related to the care of a child - the child's laundry, the child's meal prep and clean up, cleaning the child's bathroom and toys. But NO general cleaning (she should not make your bed or vacuum your bedroom for example).
OP should be more concerned that the nanny is going to narrate and talk to her newborn and play, engage and teach her 13 month old.
