I'm a nanny.. This is my third nanny share.. and I don't mind two infants at the same time.. when you are a professional and have 15+ years of experience, you learn ways to making sure all the children needs are taking care of.

Actually, it's very important.

Ask the nanny. Most don't want the hassle of two infants (are the infants at least within a few months of each other?!) and a toddler, because it's too hard to keep the toddler entertained and yet do everything that the parent of the other infant wants (uninterrupted naptime for one). A share is completely different from a single family; most parents are fine with a younger sibling being drug along for playdates, storytime and classes.

Yes mom of two should pay $17.. I would say pay your nanny $27 for all three children.

Thank you for your answer. This is for a nanny share in DC. How much should the mom of two pay? Let's say we decide to pay the nanny $25/hour fro 3 kids . So what would the mom of two kids pay in this case? I guess a little bit more than the one who has only one child, right?

We are in Silver Spring, We give our nanny $20 she has 5 years experience.

Our nanny has done two other nanny share before working with us. She has 15+ years experience. We pay her $24, with health insurance. We are in Rockville, MD.

If you are talking about three children in a share. You are looking at $26-$28

It all depends on the person experiences.. A nanny with 15+ years of experience will not take $20.. more like $24-$26.

Nanny with 6+ years experience will take $20

There are families out there that pay their nannies $18-20 for a share. which I think is crazy. When some families pay $18-22 for one child. We are in a nanny share and we pay our nanny $23, she has 10+ years of experience and she has done a nanny share before.

In metro D.C.? You might get an undocumented nanny with no education for $20 an hour (10 per child) but not anyone good. Educated and experienced nannies get around $25 for one child around here.

How much will each family pay if they both have one child? I heard $10 each. Is that correct ?

If one family has one child and the other 2 how much should each family pay the nanny?
