You need to be paid OT to be in compliance with your taxes? What am I missing? How does being paid OT make anyone in compliance with taxes? OP, please don't make up a story like this - your family will know you are lying, and then they will wonder what else you lie about.
Just tell them the truth: you work more than 40 hours and deserve to be compensated under the law. And then expect to follow all laws, including having taxes withheld! Good luck!
