Thank you so much for saying this, pp. I had a nanny who would stay well past her end time. I eventually started doing things like making dinner and helping older kids with homework hoping she would get the hint. Twice she actually stayed and ate dinner with us. I eventually learned that I needed to tell her that she was done for the day and shoo her out the door. I found it so uncomfortable.
