I wouldn't use Craigslist to find a babysitter, however you can also try using sittercity.com as well.

The app Nextdoor is good if you are in DC. Also check care.com and Urbansitter

I've never hired anyone other than family to watch my three kids. I need help beyond what family members can provide. How do you find sitters or regular part-time care? How is care.com? What about craigslist? I don't live in a cul de sac neighborhood or anything, so there are no neighborhood teenagers that I could hire.
