There is a job offer right now on Craigslist DC, the person is looking for a nanny for one child and is willing to start the pay at $20. Family do pay $18-22 for one child.
Why are families offering $18-20 for a nanny share?? That is too low.
When oay thet much for one child. But the truth is there are people who take the jobs for $22 for two kids and families who hire them. . I know plenty of families in shares who pay about that.
Yeah families do pay $22 for nanny share, but I do think its crazy for nanny share to start the nanny pay at $18 or $20.

I have posted this before. I live in NWDC and pay $27 an hour for one child. My DD's nanny has a masters degree in Early Education and was a preschool teacher. Nanny has several nanny friends with the same education and experience who are earning the same rate. Yes, experience and education matter.
