I had an MB like that. It just wears you down after awhile to always hear petty negative crap and never hear one good thing you do for her child. This particular MB has also be passed over for promotion at her work three times since I have known her due to her inability to lead her team. No one wanted to work for her.

That sounds tough. I hope you can find a nicer family.

OP here, yes MB is never around, she doesn't have a job, but is always out of the house. It became a personal issues between her and DB, and I guess she's taking her frustrations out on me. I'm in the process of looking for another job, because MB has mentally drained me, and also just for other reasons itself.

My MB nitpicks about the smallest things and it gets under my skin, I come in everyday and work to the best of my ability with her kids and she always finds some small thing to complain about. Example: she's away at a meeting and felt the need to text me and tell me I forgot to put my charges' orthotics on (which I never forget), but it's been a jammed packed busy day so it slipped my mind, and that his pendant on his necklace was turned around wrong. Who does that?! It's not that big of an issue. It's been plenty of times in the past where she would compliment me on a job well done, then toss in the "however you didn't do XYZ." And I've made sure to double check my work and make sure charge is well taken care of before I leave for the day. When I could dish it a laundry list of things that I can complain to her about, but choose not to.
