This is exactly why nannies need background checks on potential employers. You never know who might have a criminal history. You need to feel safe behind closed doors.

I'm so sorry, OP. God only knows how many nannies and au pairs have been sexually assaulted by their employers.

A background check only tells you if he's been caught commmitting a crime, not if he's likely to commit crimes or hasn't been caught. I am so sorry that happened to you and I hope things go better you.

I been raped by my employer and he is in jail now.
So the nannys should run back ground check on employers as well.I been told that in the court.
