One hour's pay or less and I'd be super touched. 1-2 hours and I'd be touched, but think it was slightly OTT. 2+ and I'd worry about paying you back, etc and it would be mores stress-inducing than appreciated. But, seriously, 1 hour or less salary with a handmade card from DD? Amazing.
some tests are actually a BIG deal. My DB is out of town taking a test that his job (and thus mine) depends on. I also agree though that celebrating your boss passing a test is a little odd/unnecessary.
