just decline her invites to any more kid events. you are with the kid 40+ hours/week. you don't need extra time with the Mom.

Yeah, it is like they want it both ways. They want us to care for the kids but get insecure/jealous when a relationship is actually formed. Find a new MB, this one doesn't sound very nice.

No advice just solidarity. My mb goes out of her way to tell the kids I'm an outsider. Newflash I don't want to be in your stupid ass family circle.

I get so frustrated with my mb!!! I was asked by my mb if I would like to go to any of the kids events. So I pick one & go then the whole time I feel like she is trying to compete with me. I am not any way encouraging the behavior. I am the nanny and am well aware of my place. She is the mom I respect her as that ! She is # 1 to the kids which is a good thing. I feel like she is constantly mad at me. I feel can never tell her anything about the kids day . Because she will be mad we had a fun day together. It is so frustrating to deal with!!!!!
