Today I texted "There is a stack of five things from Gap and the receipt - please return while you're out." I know they'll be at a playground right near the Gap, and it's kid clothes I don't want my kids wearing.
In the first couple of years I probably texted once or twice a day during my commute, just to say "Slept well last night, please try to keep naps on schedule," or "Tried blueberries last night - please let me know if you notice rash or swelling pop up."
It was only the first three months that I was texting to ask how things were going.
Maybe it's clothes that DB picked up and they don't fit correctly. Maybe it's clothes that Grandma sent for a birthday, and MB knows that the white, lacy, frilly dress will only stay that way for 5 seconds before squished blueberries and/or mud ruin it forever. Why is it up to you to cast judgement on what she wants her child to wear?
