I think it is totally out of line for your MB to have the nerve of actually sending you a text asking for your help during your vacation.

You enjoy your time off & do not let guilt ruin your break.

No, I don't feel bad. I'm good at my job because I take time off to relax and be away from my job once or twice a year.

I wouldn't cut my vacation short. I work hard and deserve my vacation like every other working person.

If there was a real emergency, I would maybe consider it but it would be on a case to case basis.
