the only reason rates are $22-25/hour are because they are part-time. Doing errands and watching kids after school.
Totally different from nannying a baby or toddler from 8-5pm.
The rate is higher as a sort of retainer function and to keep on the person who used to work more hours at a lower rate, now works less hours at a higher rate (and likely less gross per week).
