If you ask her if she is doing okay, she naturally will know that she looks terrible so in all honesty I would just not say a thing for now & act like everything is normal.

However if she seems to deteriorate in the near future, then I may ask her if she is feeling okay.

Does she have a husband?
Does he seem concerned too?

Seems a silly time to start slimming world then doesn't it! Which is what she is doing. I don't think she is pregnant. She looks worried ill kind of thing, like something is on her mind.

Just ask her if there's anything you can do to help out...prepping dinner or shopping or whatever. Don't say it's because she looks terrible, just ask to be nice. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
