$20 for two children, no way. But I will say $28 is too much. You should start at $25.

You are asking for long hours, we finished a nanny share last year. For 47-50 hours. We started her at $26, she had 15 years of childcare experience. And we are in Arlington, VA

For a nanny share we started at $25. Our nanny has 12+ years of experience.

She has at least five years of experience although she doesn't have nanny share experience with two infants. She has cared for at least two families with two kids each. There are some language barrier issues.

No, $28 seems about right to me if not a tad low. A good nanny can get between 25 and 30 for one child today, why would she ever take less for two?

However, I am sure you could find some poor soul willing to do a two infant share for 10 an hour if you really don't care who cares for your baby. It all depends on what you are looking for in terms of education and experience.

Nanny is asking $28/hr to care for two infants. When we had a nanny share several years ago, we paid $20/hr. This will be for a 50 hr week, so it includes 10 hours of overtime pay. Am I crazy for thinking $28/hr is pretty steep?
