Families who can afford to pay for a separate room, flight or even consider taking a nanny on a vacation for work most likely can pay a premium.

This is a job for them, not a vacation. It is your vacation and you need to pay for the convince of them being away from their home and family.

And of course they pay for everything during travel (flight, meals, rooms, car, etc)

I like this!!

Nice set up!

I'm a career nanny, so maybe you are looking for a sitter????

I put in my contracts, all travel is a daily rate of 750 plus all transpo and lodging and food.

I mainly charge a higher rate because I have no schedule, can be on all day or all night.

I have been with my nf for 5 years, we travel 3 to 6 months a year depending on work.

1) providing a firm schedule with unscheduled hours as completely free time
2) providing reasonable accommodation and expense coverage so that time can be enjoyed
3) finding someone who will find value in the time off and enjoying the location

Haha 75 a day!!!

I would charge $2500. $500/day because this isn't a vacation it's work sheltered in place. You gotta pay all the hours.

I charge $350 a day and of course my employers pay for all food, travel, room, airline ticket, travel to and from both airports.

Remember, traveling for work is not a vacation for your nanny.

If you just want a few hours, contact babysitters there through the hotel or care.com

No, I did it as a teenager going to the beach with a family. I ended up with several more kids and on 24/7 when they said a few hours a day. You are taking them away from their home, life and family. You need to pay a premium.

Babysitter or nanny??

Will she have her own room?

You pay
Plane, transportation, food, extra transportation (if you aren't close to anything, though if it's a tourist town, it's probably walkable), room, her rate of pay (either her hourly for days and a set for nights or a full daily rate), if theme park area of Florida tickets to parks.

Need more info to answer this.

if it's your nanny, ask her what she would charge.

if you don't have a trusted nanny, I would suggest looking for a family member- maybe your mom, or a younger cousin or niece.

We have Au Pairs, and they get their normal weekly rate and separate hotel room and plane fare and meals paid (although if we get a condo, she usually shares a room with my older daughter)

We have two kids and would love to get some time for ourselves while down there. Maybe 4-5 hours a day. Going for 5 days. What should we offer to a babysitter?
