When your English is poor, you lack education, you have no computer skills, and your background is housekeeping in El Salvador, then $16 an hour in Loudoun County is pretty good.

With a little effort I bet you could talk that $16/hr down a bit even. I'd try for $14/hr.
Why would you be so obnoxious as to even suggest this? She's already underpaid at $16/hour and likely works her butt off. What you're suggesting is unfair and just mean. I feel sorry for anyone who works for you. Hell, I feel sorry for anyone who even knows if you these are the types of things you suggest.
I feel sorry for you that you think $16/hr is underpaid. For an illegal no less! That's more than double minimum wage, and the Loudoun County living wage calculation is $14.35........

We have bought her a car and give her health insurance and overtime when appropriate. We want to make sure that we are paying her a good hourly wage as well. I realize there is a range with these things but it would be helpful to hear what people think she should be paid per hour. Thanks for help on this.
