I agree w/ the prior posters. A nice gift from the registry (or something equivalent) and you certainly don't need to give another large chunk of money.

This. Or, if you can afford it, pick something off the registry that she isn't likely to get because of how expensive it is. If she is not registered, I would probably give a much smaller check than the first time around.

We love our nanny and when she told us she was getting married in courthouse in August, we gave her a wedding gift, check for 500 dollars. Fast forward and she decided to do a wedding in a few weeks and invited all of us and the kids. Do I give her another check? If so, how much? She has been with us for 5 years. Thanks.
