GTM Payroll Services - gtm.com. They do the payroll w/free direct deposit, all the tax filings and worker's comp.

There are several payroll companies. When we looked the prices were close to the same. We chose HOmework Solutions because they are local and they do seminars at DH's office every year.

You're employing her and paying her wages. Of course you're responsible for paying the appropriate medicare/SS taxes on those wages.

Wondering if the nanny in my soon-to-be nanny share is actually my household employee. The other family in the nanny share is providing place of employment (their house) and technically all the
"tools" she needs to do the work. If she is not my household employee, do I need to pay for 1) medicare and social security taxes and 2) unemployment/workmans comp insurances? She is requesting both, from each family.

If I am responsible for these payments, is there a payroll service that people recommend?
