I used to keep a calendar on top of the microwave where the phone was. I listed everything in there that we were doing, whether it be a playdate or storytime somewhere. On the very rare occasions they wanted me to do something they would check this first.
Ask your employers for a similar set up.

I just really need to vent about my employer's! I am beyond tired of them always interfering when I am trying to do my job. Which makes it impossible for me to do when they are around because they can't stop interrupting!! It is like they see the kiddos being happy having fun with me. They can't stand it so they do whatever they can to upset one of the kids. I am also so tired of always finding out the schedule at the last minute. The only time I know anything about the schedule is because I had to ask. I am just so tired! I just keep thinking I have to make it through the next 7 days. Then I am off a week for the holidays!!! I don't need any advice. I just needed to get my feelings out. Thank you!
