I agree with the PP who advised you to find another job. Your current employers are using you.

Sorry, ignorance is no defense. If you entrust the lives of your children to this woman you should learn common practices regarding their employ. Seriously, it is the least a parent can do.

Find the new job. If you have to ask then they do not appreciate you and are just using you. Give no more than two weeks notice.

I work for a very wealthy couple on weekends. After my first year anniversary, there was no mention of a raise. Now a second baby has been added and there is still no mention of a raise. Of course I will ask for a raise but I am so angry that I have to ask that I have started to look for a new weekend nanny job. Both parents praise me and constantly ask me for more hours so It is not an issue of being undeserving.
