Subject: Childcare Co-ops - Mt. Pleasant DC
Basically, you provide childcare for other children for x hours, and then "earn" the same x hours for you to use. People can also pay back in other ways by making meals, house sitting; each co-op is a little different.
The only co-op I knew of was in Mt. Pleasant, so ask around.

Our pediatrician recently recommended looking into a childcare co-op for our toddler (19 months). I work part-time and am interested in learning more about options available in NW DC (Mt. Pleasant in particular). I'm at the beginning of this process and figured I'd start here. Anyone BTDT or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
