What is the rider? What do you call it. I have called Progressive, Geico, AAA and no one mentions a rider. They just say she has to get commercial auto insurance.

I don't know the answer to your question, but wanted to add that classifying it as for business use can have other implications in certain jurisdictions. For example, in the City of Alexandria I believe she would have to pay additional taxes on a vehicle classified as for business use.

Whether my nanny is covered under our auto insurance or ups her own auto insurance to have the right amount of liability coverage should we say her car is for business use? What do people do?
Our nanny will be picking our kids up from school and taking them to sports. Sometimes she takes then to the park via a car. At most, she drives 7 miles roundtrip for us daily - 35 miles a week. Do we need to say he car is for personal and business use? What would you do?
