I used to nanny years ago before becoming a doula. I was wondering as I've met a few others who transitioned. I'm working on building a national agency and what that would look like. I'd love to offer doula, ncs, nanny and complimentary services such as chiropractic care, acupuncture and massage.
I'm very curious to know of those of you who would make the transition what would be your reasoning? Do you feel you need more training than you already have ( overnights or postpartum work) , would you ever switch to birth doula role ?

Google DONA or DTI , two certifying agencies.

Have any of you considered becoming postpartum doulas, newborn care specialists, or strictly doing overnight care?
