Does she know you don't want tv all day? Kinda a silly question, anyone with half a brain should be able entertain 2 children.
Is this her first nanny job? Does she have any experience with children?

I would suggest sitting down with her explain the situation and see her side. Then explain your side and your expectations.

If she doesn't agree or just doesn't listen, let her go and find someone better suited for you and your kids.

I have three and she normally watches the two youngest while my oldest is in daycare/preschool all day. We switched the days so my middle son gets formal interaction with kids. Now he goes two days per week and on those days, my oldest is home with her. So there's really no change - in fact my older son is easier than my 2 year old because he's more independent.

Do you pay her extra, when she watches your older son? Could be that she is feeling taken advantage of.

We have a nanny that's been with us for a year and she's been good and love our kids. During warmer weather she takes them out for a good part of the day. Yesterday I was home and my older so (who she started watching with my baby twice her week) was watching videos the entire day.

I don't know if this is what they do most days but I don't want my kid on the computer for 6 hours straight. Is there any curriculum or other educational activities I can ask her to do with him on the days they stay home.
