No no no. It's unethical. In some states nanny agencies have to be licensed and employment agencies must inform clients on how to pay legally and about labor laws. My agency made parents sign agreement they would pay me legally.

Nannies would you work with an agency who works with employers who will not do taxes? It surprises me how many agencies out there that does not support nannies wanting to find positions that will pay legally. I was dropped by an agency after i quit a position where the employer decided after I was hired to do a 1099 even when agreed to pay legally.
