OP, they might be. They might not be. Why don't you just ask your next employers? They are the only ones whose preferences matter here.

I bought a gracious convertible, good for 5-50 lbs and used it for a variety of kids and never had anyone bat an eye.

I have a good Graco car seat that can be adjusted for my three year old weekend charge and my 9 month old weekday charge. I had it installed my a safety consultant who said it was good for both. My two nanny-families were happy I had taken care of it myself.

It depends on the parent. I would not as I want seats to fit my child at that particular stage. It is the parents responsibility and you have a right to dictate an appropriate seat (i.e. harnessed vs. low back booster). I would also be concerned about how it has bene cared for.

Thanks.
Some yes, some no. Happy now?

I am a nanny. Been there done that. Learned that the answer to your question is yes, they would feel comfortable using the same car seat you already have.
Your mileage may vary, but that is the way it panned out for the three families I have worked for over the last five years.

Remember that they expire, though I think the new ones last for 10 years. I think that any family that doesn't feel comfortable will provide its own seat.
