Aw, thanks. She had cancer and died in April. I miss her like crazy even though she had some distinctly antisocial behaviors at times.

How long does your group meet for? If it's only for an hour or two, I can't imagine anyone would take time out of thei day to make less than $20.

Yes she watches the children while the moms are in another room. They're looking for another babysitter as the old babysitter quit.
Rate was advertised as $8/ hour on our online group.

What?! So each mom pays $1-2 dollars or whatever? Yikes. I'd say something but really, it's on the sitter to stand up for herself. How old is the sitter? And is she getting paid in another way...like rent exchange or ... I don't know ... groceries or something? I'd cut my rate *a little* if a family had a big garden and sent me home with a box of produce or something like that.
