Could be a good option for someone looking for temporary work or looking for a reference, but I would be concerned tjat you would get wors that your spot opened up and fire me woth little or no notice. Ypu will attract better candidates if you address that situation up front in your ad.

Sure, it may be an ideal gig for someone just starting out who needs some childcare experience + to create a good reference to get started.

Has anyone hired a short-term nanny while waiting to get off daycare waitlists? (And for nannies on here, would you ever be interested in an arrangement like this)? My preference is to use a daycare but there is a good chance I won't be off the waitlist until 2-6 months after I need to start care, and we won't know if we've gotten in until a month or so in advance...
