How would they know the nanny used a false identity? The first thing anyone should do is to examine original identity documents, and at least one should be a photo id. A background check searches the information you provide - it does not know if you are providing legit information or not. If you searched on a false identity that is on you, not a background check provider.

The best one I've found to use is enannysource. They do a complete state and federal criminal check, sex offenders check and also driving record.

Subject: Recommendation for background check
Can anyone recommend a good background check service? We are looking to hire a nanny that we like but want to do a background check first that would include her driving record. I searched the forum but didn't see any recent recommendations. I looked online but am a little overwhelmed by all the advertising. Thanks.
