Many facilities understandably are not willing to take on the responsibility of monitoring a young child who is still learning to swallow while they eat chunky foods. Given that BLW is not the reccommended/best practice advised by AAP, it would put them in a dangerous legal footing if something were to happen. They may also not have facilities for storing and reheating food that isn't shelf stable.

OP, I use Earths Best or Ella's Organica when I need to buy packaged food for my little ones.

This was the only response needed. OP didn't ask for your opinion on BLW. You just couldn't help but be judgmental, could you?

How was I being judgemental? I was trying to explain to the PP why most daycares would not be willing to just feed the baby what she eats at home if what she eats at home isn't a puree. There are lots of things that are not an official AAP best practice that are nevertheless valid parenting choices, but most of them cannot be safely practiced by a daycare. Another example: elimination communication, also, bedsharing.

I have used earths best and ella's organics, but we really love the plum organic pouches.

We are doing baby led weaning at home but daycare doesn't allow it. What brand do you recommend?
