I've known several nannies who have attended APNA.

And INA is International Nanny Association NOT International nanny agency, so why are agencies on the board.

INA was founded and is heavily supported by agencies. Why should they just be kicked out?

As a nanny who is transitioning to an NCS, I actually find the agency and business contacts really valuable. I attended several of the business sessions and learned a lot of useful information that will help me as I start my own business as an NCS.

Why doesn't APNA allow nannies on their board?

How about start with allowing nannies to even join the APNA membership?

Funny how all the agencies on this forum repeatedly refuse to address this question. But they're more than happy to maintain the chokehold on INA. Shame on them.

Not the OP or PP, but the new board was just installed at conference. There are 12 total members, 6 are either Nanny/NCS or former Nanny NCS. The other 6 are agency owners. The board is elected from the membership.

Not OP, but I also attended and had a great time. This was my second conference and I'll definitely be going again.

Individual Membership is $45/year.

Conference cost is $295 for early bird and $395 for regular for members. Non members I believe add $100 to both of those.

Conference registration includes breakfast and lunch both days, which for anyone who has planned an event at a hotel knows is a huge part of the cost.
