For heaven's sake. If you're not making this up then you need to know whether you have a job or not and the way to do that is to ask your possible employer.

She told me they had to let me go due to reliability. Then she asks if I can watch the baby this week. It was an immediate fire, and I technically did not start ( besides a shadow day), so I'm confused by this. I've been working with them today and she's talking about in depth personal things, which I don't understand since they have already fired me. I'm very confused and don't know if they are rehiring me or I'm still fired? This is just odd.
What's your question? You seem confused. Or a troll.

I need the income. I don't harbor any hard feelings. I've never been fired ( let go for things like moving, becoming a SAHM, etc.) but I understand where she is coming from. I would did my hold up my end of the bargain, and I deserved to be fired. They were in the right. I still like them as people. Plus, I put them into this situation of having scrambling to scramble for care. I don't mind helping them until they find a replacement. It's called talking responsibility for your actions. It's the least I can do for putting MB in such a major bind at work.
