Hi its me again,

Today my MB introduced me to this woman. She said this woman is her friend. That woman asked me if I know abt amber necklace and what is my opinion. I told her I read a lot abt the necklace but not into it so much. Its up to my MB if she want to get one for her DS. From our conversations it seems this "friend" is a NANNY. I told her " its good that you speak their language maybe you can watch X (baby name) when I go for my vacation"

She said " I love to do that because my son and my daughter is older and I miss sweet baby like X"

The more I talked to her the more I feel like she is going to the second nanny. Before I left I told my MB " I like her and maybe you can hire her sooner"

Yesterday I told her I'm not comfortable doing the passport application.

Two days ago she asked me to call this insurance company but I said "Its better for her to do it" She been on hold for almost 2 hours and not happy abt it.

She want me to go to Palms Spring with her but when I told her she need to pay me extra she gets mad.

I like her but sometimes I hate her!!

(1) Passport - inappropriate. As a parent, I would never out source this.
(2) Does she want to be nail twinsies with you? Or is this her round about way of asking you to tone it down on the neon? Maybe she gave you a light pastel pink and asked you to swap it out for your fusia?

Hm, could you say something like -

"Sure, tummy time is the best way to develop muscle control and we'll keep at it! He's making good progress. We've got story time as a central part of our day too, so that's sure to help with verbal skills."

And see how she takes to that? Because at this age, "teaching" really is just about exposing baby to developmentally appropriate things and letting them work on their skills. This baby sounds right on track. Hopefully that's about all the mom wants you to do?

If she says, "no - here's a stack of flashcards I want you cover each day" then, um, maybe suggest a book with similar material instead? My girls are liking "Baby's first 100 words" right now - no harm in reading something that covers the mom's agenda, I guess.

She sounds intense though. Are things otherwise okay?

Well Hello, Rosie.

Her son is 5 months old just starting to roll over. She said to me two days ago that "we need to teach him how to sit and to talk as soon as we can". I told her I cannot do it because I just don't. If I know how to make 5 months baby to talk in 2 months I would be RICH!

Question is can I teach the baby to sit at his age?
