I would love flowers, that's so thoughtful. Or a bottle of wine and some chocolates.

I don't give a gift card when I am giving a raise or bonus. Something personal is better. I think the flowers are a lovely idea.

While flowers are a lovely gesture OP, some people such as myself are not really into florals.

A better alternative might be a gift card to a good restaurant, coffee shop or massage parlor!
