It depends on the nanny's experience, references and certifications. It also depends on what the parents need and want. Most shares in the DC area seem to start at $18-20/hour.

Unless she one of the babies has special needs or she has some unique sought after skill that you can't find elsewhere, between $20-24 is pretty normal for full time hours in NW DC (you can swing toward the low end of that range if you are also offering a health care and/or transportation stipend, but if not, swing toward 24). Can't speak to the suburbs. Hope that helps!
