I had returned home after a vacation and get into my car and notice a cigarette butt on the floor board. I had no idea who could've had it. I convinced myself that I must've left my car unlocked and someone got inside to smoke and escape the heat while we were gone??? So fast forward a few weeks and see another on the side of my door! I asked her about it because she was the only person that would drive my car other than I. She had a suv that could seat 6 so I would leave her my car at her office and get her keys for the share we were in.
I'm still puzzled months later. Then one day as I'm bringing the kids inside from their garage I noticed the same type of cig by the outside stairs. That's when I knew she was a HUGE liar. I also suspected she'd been getting high whenever she claimed to be staying home to work or exercise and would close herself off in the basement and come up with red eyes and smelling like potpourri. I soon after went back to teaching. I felt incredibly disrespected that she would smoke in my vehicle. Not sure how she covered the scent
She didn't. It's just not possible. I say this as a former car smoker who can now detect the smell in the most minute quantities in other's cars. If you didn't ever smell anything, she wasn't smoking in your car. Likely a butt got stuck to the bottom of her shoe and tracked inside of the car.
You never noticed the smell, it didn't harm you in anyway, and you are clearly incredibly judgmental. No wonder this woman didn't come clean to you.
How's the view from up there on your horse?
