Wow, OP, you are very lucky to have an MB that generous and thoughtful! My current MB is really great in many ways; she jumped the gun on a one year review and unexpectedly gave me a raise at the 6 month mark a few weeks ago. That was the same week as my birthday and she also gave me a $75 gift card to a nice local restaurant and let me leave 4 hours early on the day of my birthday, paid of course, which I considered extremely generous. I've been with my boyfriend for over three years (MB knows this), and to be 100% honest things have been a bit rocky for us lately. If we broke up, I'm sure my MB would be sympathetic, and might consider giving me an extra paid day off. But I can't imagine that she would also give me a spa gift card; even if she did it wouldn't be for $200! (This is partially because they are saving up to buy a new house and I know money is a bit tight for them right now.)

...Kind of makes me wish that I was working for a wealthier family who could afford such things, but then again my last NF (of 3 years) was crazy rich, and that MB never gave me nice things, not even for my birthday or Christmas. I much prefer working with a family like my current one; they might not be able to afford much, but they really do treat me well and honestly care about me. It sounds like OP's MB does, too, and that's definitely a great feeling!

Today is my bday and I got a gift card to my favourite kitchen-y store from my MB - I'd mentioned I liked the store in passing once months and months ago. So lovely to be paid this much attention to!

BTW sorry about the BF- as they say you have to kiss a lot of frogs.

Mb and I are fairly close and will frequently chat about personal things. A few weeks ago my BF and broke up after almost a year together. Today Mb asked how he was, and I mentioned we had broken up. She said "Oh that's terrible, I'm so sorry. Men suck"

Tonight I got an email from her (and the kids) with a $200 gift certificate to a local spa. She told me to take tomorrow off and go have a spa day. She said that he didn't know what he was missing out on, but they did.

She's awesome! There really are great Mbs out there who care about their nannys.
