I would never leave my children with anyone one person knowing that she was also caring for another infant and toddler!!! What are you thinking, OP? This is a potentially dangerous situation as there is no way all children will even get just adequate care.

In order to get a right answer to this question OP, you would need to state your area is & hopefully some nannies will respond who live close to you.

Because area is a very important factor when determining a reasonable salary.

For example, a nanny in Kansas or Minnesota cannot properly advise a reasonable salary for anyone in D.C., Boston or L.A.

Yeah, especially since many daycares are 1:3 on infants, you'd have more attention!

That is insane. Daycare it. Aftercare it. Hire your own nanny. Very very very very few people could manage two toddlers and two infants. Do you know any moms with two sets of twins 1.5 years apart? I did once, and she was frazzled beyond belief. This is an unworkable arrangement.

You are talking about two families. Try a daycare instead.

I would discount my normal 2 kid rate by less than 20% simply due to the huge workload. Naps or no naps, 4 kids under 3 sounds like a very stressful and exhausting job. So I would charge close to $30.

If this actually happens, I hope nanny has NO housework to do other than loading the dishwasher with the items she used for the kids. No laundry, no tidying, no nothing.

If one were to attempt this I think it would be at very top dollar rates - $25-30/hr.

But I agree that this sounds like a daycare situation - not a nanny share.

I would not see this as a good option for my kid(s).

Agree. Op must be a troll, imo.

Where do you live, OP?

Where are you located OP? Firstly, I doubt the arrangement you are proposing is legal. With 4 unrelated children you are crossing into family daycare numbers, and your home and caregiver would need to be licensed.

What is an appropriate salary for a nanny in a nanny share who will have 2 toddlers (age 2) and 2 infants? The toddlers are in school until 11:30 and then nap for several hours in the PM.
