My DB talked through payroll with me (first time he's used it), and I agreed to be paid bi weekly versus weekly, as it was less expensive for him. Most nannies won't agree to bi weekly, but you could specify in your ad that you want a nanny who understands that it would be payroll bi weekly.

You should go to Breedlove's website and use the employer budget calculator. It will outline all the payroll expenses for you.

That's probably in the ballpark.

Cost also depends on what service (if any) you use to cover payroll. Any of the services out there will talk you through the hypothetical costs even if you're not a client. (Homepay (formerly Breedlove) is one example that gives great customer service and was very helpful to me when we were getting started.)
